This course introduces the student to the basic principles of illness and disease commonly seen in the health care environment. Topics may include infectious and noninfectious diseases, environmental health, and the promotion of good health practices. In addition, students will be introduced to common disease and medical procedure terminology. Policies

If a television show producer decides to create a new cable channel, they must figure out a way to satisfy a specific or unique market niche to be successful. They must do this because if they create a new channel that is tailored to a specific audience, however that audience is already satisfied with a cable channel that provides them with the content they want, that new channel will not succeed. Being a college student, I noticed that not many students take full advantage of their university. So if I was a television show producer, and I was deciding to create a new cable channel, it would be geared towards the average student. The channel would be simple; it would provide advice to students who are currently in college, and for high school students who are going to be applying to college. First lets talk about the high school aspect of it. Now generally there will be certain phases in the year where high school students will be applying to universities. With that being said, I know it isn’t easy for a sixteen or seventeen year old to fathom how overwhelming applying to college is, while at the same time trying to handle still taking classes and maybe even extracurricular activities.
