1. Executive summary
This paper will study a contract, common in business law; but more specifically, this report will analyze a credit card agreement from CIBC Visa. In studying this contract, it will show what a contract is and the legal framework that it implies. In studying the clauses of this contract, one will familiarize oneself with the legal terms and jargon that all contracts consist of. In explaining these clauses, one might be able to divide them into twelve main principles that a contracting agreement should consist of. This paper will then analyze the clauses and any potential flaws or problems, and later suggest changes that should be applied. These can be considerable change, for instance, adding or removing clauses or can be simply a small change, such as changing a few words in a clause or fixing a spelling error. This report will then move on to challenge the legal reasoning of the contract and finally explain the legal corrective measures that are identified at the end of this paper. All of these things will be tied into the general foundation of business law and how they all connect.

Artists practicing Ukiyo-e would carefully craft woodblock prints depicting scenes of daily life against the backdrop of Japan’s landscapes. However, these scenes were far from ordinary. Some of these prints are well-known today, such as Hokusai’s The Great Wave or Hiroshige’s Sudden Shower Over Shin-Ohashi Bridge and Atake , but most remain relatively unknown. Utagawa Hiroshige was a famous master of Ukiyo-e prints with a wide variety of artwork on a variety of media. One such medium was uchiwa-e, fan prints. These images, although not as well-known, represent a great amount of his work. In particular, his 8 Views of Edo (Edo Hakkei), was very popular during his time. This collection, entitled Hakkei, is a series of scenes portraying beautifully dressed geisha women placed in the foreground of famous sites in Edo. Each plate includes a different location, including Mount Fuji, Ryogoku, Tsukuda and the Sumida River. Interestingly enough, Utagawa Hiroshige’s intention was to capture and popularize the majestic beauty of these places, not their geisha subjects. Each photographer has his own space in the exhibition for approximately fifteen of his photographs, mainly in black and white framed with a light brown frame, realizing in a whole a retrospective of how society has changed in Quebec throughout the years. It conveys the photographers’ concerns and interests in the quality of urban lives. The photographers transmit a reflection of society, collectively, individually and creatively by the use of a keen critical sense, while respecting the subject in its environment. This exhibition will conduct the visitor to ask itself some questions, “Where are we going?” “What is reality?”. In fact, the role of the photographers in this exhibition is to present artistically, a documentary on the society with its diverse values and inhabitants.
