THE BENEFITS OF RECYCLING 2
Introduction
Recycling is the process that takes used materials and turns them into new products. First of all, this process reduces the amount of waste in the landfills which helps the environment.
There is already too much land that has been taken over by these landfills. Secondly, recycling also promotes environmental awareness. It’s important to be aware of what the waste is doing to our environment. Third of all, recycling will also help with the economical aspect by providing job opportunities. This would be a great benefit for people who cannot find jobs. The environmental, political, and economical situations would all benefit from the recycling industry.
Saving the Environment What would happen if we became over run by trash? We probably wouldn’t be living in a healthy environment then. Recycling promotes the reuse of recycled materials to make new products. Most products are made with recyclable materials like plastics, glass, paper, metals, and even rubber can be recycled. All these materials can prevent the landfills from filling up and will also prevent the usage of land. Not everyone stops to think about what happens to the land when garbage is buried in it. Garbage is pollution and when it’s buried in the ground it causes the soil to be contaminated. It pollutes our beautiful natural water resources too. If landfills were reduced with recycling then we would be able to help stop global warming. Trees are cut down every day to make way for new landfills. If we all recycled, we could prevent this from happening. Environmental Awareness Recycling does raise environmental awareness. With the way things are going, it is very important to acknowledge the importance…...

...of each. Brief Interpretation of the Scenario The problem in this scenario is the individual that invented it believes that it will be of use to outside parties, but he or she does not have the money to fully finance the duplication and distribution of his or her product. The best way for him or her to get the funding and get his product out to the general public would be a partnership business, in which he would gain a better financial standing by having a second, or perhaps even third parties financial assistance Advantages and Disadvantages of Proprietorship, Partnership, and Corporation The three different types of business are sole proprietor, partnership, and corporation. Each type has its pros and cons, its positive and negative aspects. Sole proprietorship is when one person owns and runs his or her own business. Therefore, he or she is individually responsible for all moneys owed, to investors, employees, and et cetera. A sole proprietor can sell his or her business as they see fit or give it away to a family member or friend. He or she has to pay taxes on their business’s income. The owner of the business has control over all aspects of the business. A huge downside to having a sole proprietorship business is that the actions or inactions of an employee of the business become the direction problem of the owner. Partnership businesses are formed when two or more individuals agree to start a business and split the operating costs of said business. In......

...about what is the right way to solve this scenario by exhausting duty-oriented, consequence-oriented, and virtue-ethics reasoning. After all of that, I will discuss what the outcome is when individuals apply different principles of healthcare conclusions as well as how a person determines who is correct when multiple conclusions are found. Having to Sacrifice One to Save a Dozen More There will always be difficult conclusions that have to be made with people that work in the medical field. There will always be instances where sacrifices have to be made to save the lives of others. Introduction The appropriate action for this scenario is the ethical theory of utilitarianism. The main point of utilitarianism is to maximize serviceableness. When one makes a choice regarding a certain course of action, and one needs to exhaust the decision that will give the largest good for the largest amount of individuals. ...Running head: THE CONCEPT OF ADAPTATION 1 Sensory Adaptation Experiment Aspects of Psychology American InterContinental University November 20, 2013 THE CONCEPT OF ADAPTATION 2 Process and Results of Each Experiment Experiment 1 with Sandpaper- After rubbing my index finger on the very coarse sandpaper a few times, I would rate the coarseness on a scale of 7 (very coarse). This experiment gave me a tingling feeling in my finger. After a minute or so from resting my index finger, I ran the same index finger on the sandpaper and found that it wasn’t as coarse as the first time. I would rate its coarseness at a 3 which led my finger to not react to the paper as much as the first time. So I feel that my senses adapted to the coarseness of the sandpaper. Experiment 2 with Sugar Water and Fresh Water- I took one cup and put two teaspoons of sugar in with fresh water and stirred it. In the second cup I only put fresh water in it. I then took the cup with sugar water in it and took a sip and swished it around in my mouth. I noticed that I could feel my taste buds were stimulating but after a few seconds they became less stimulated. When I had tasted the fresh water and swished it around, I noticed that I tasted a hint of salt. It surprised me because I wasn’t expecting to taste salt......

Antivirus software prevents infiltration and/or stops an attack completely. It will check a set of coding against a database of virus codes. It is important to use a well stocked virus database source. Strong passwords are typically ten to fourteen characters in length, a mix of numbers, symbols, upper, and lower cases lettering. Patterns, names, and identifiable information should be avoided (HostingHelpers, 2008). Critical updates include receiving security updates from an online source. These are done in forms of patches and/or updates that will correct coding, fix exploitable code, and a wealth of other things. These are vital to working with several applications. Firewalls are able to block unwanted traffic. These can help with security and keep random connection attempts form using up server and system resources (HostingHelpers, 2008). It will be my first party and I want it to be spectacular. So I need to make a list of things to do. Before I know it March 28th will be here and I will have a houseful of supporters. So first things first, I sat down and immediately got to work on the guest list. Before I knew it I had 64 guests within a short time. As I was filling out the invitations I had realized that I didn’t have addresses for some. So I proceeded to go on the internet to my facebook account. I sent out invites to the few people that I didn’t have addresses for. Then all of a sudden I had remembered that I could post an event. So I did. As soon as I had it posted, guests were already accepting the invites. I felt amazing but very nervous at the same time. As I was putting the invitations in the mail, I was praying that I would have a great number of acceptances. I wanted to be able to show off my business at the party. So I started printing some material off of my website. I also had a video on how the products were made and designed. I was so proud of my creativeness. I had even taken an old bookcase that I had and painted it light grey. Being that Easter was around the corner, I decided to go with an Easter theme. I went to the Dollar Tree in town. I picked up the cutest Easter baskets. Then I thought that I could get some of the......

...Tibbetts 6/15/16 Unit 5 – Individual Project The Department of Homeland Security is one of the most important departments in our federal government. It is largely responsible for ensuring that the United States as a country is kept safe from harm, whether through natural or terrorist events. However, even a department as large as the DHS is unable to fully protect the homeland from every threat possible. There is no way to always cover every avenue for potential threat to the U.S. To combat this unfortunate reality, the DHS relies on help from private enterprise. The DHS includes an office, known as the Office of Policy, which includes the Private Sector Office as one of its sub-departments. The Private Sector Office provides the Secretary and Department leaders with advice on issues relevant to the private sector, including academia, non-profits, NGOs, and businesses (dhs.gov). In addition, the PSO helps create and foster strategic communications with the private sector to enhance the primary mission of the Department to protect the American homeland (dhs.gov). This paper will explain the involvement of the Department of Homeland Security with private enterprise via the PSO, explain why this involvement is crucial to the mission, and explain how the DHS uses private enterprise in the protection of critical infrastructure and key resources. This paper will also give examples of programs that address governments on all levels, private enterprises, or individuals in the......
