I. INTRODUKSYON SA PANANALIKSIK

A. Paglalahad ng suliranin

Sa panahon ngayon, madaming kabataan ang sadyang naadik sa paglalaro ng computer games. Sa paglalaro ng computer games, naapektuhan ang isip ng isang manlalaro dahil siya ay nagkakaroon ng mga pantasya ukol dun sa nilalaro niya. Ang madalas na nagbibigay ng epekto ay ang mga computer games na may karahasan na kasama. Mga larong may temang sex, pagpapaslang at paggamit ng mga sandatang nakakamatay.

B. Pag-aaral

May mga kaso sa ibang bansa tungkol sa mga negatibong epekto ng paglalaro ng computer games, kinokopya ng mga manlalaro ang mga aksyon at isinasabuhay ito, dahil sa sobrang paglalaro ng computer games naaangkop na nila at ginagaya ang kanilang nakikita na lalong nagiging adik sila dahil sa kaharasan. Ang iba naman ay nagbibigay ng positibong epekto sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay ng lesson na magaganda at ginagawang mas malawak ang imahinasyon ng isang manlalaro. Ito yung mga ginagamit nila sa pag aaral o mga talentong na nahahasa na kanilang nakikita sa pagiging malikhain at sa mga sosyal na akitibidades ng laro.

C. Layunin

Ang layunin ng pananaliksik na ito ay upang maging kumpleto ang grado sa kursong FILIPINO II, ito ay isang “requirement”upang makapasa. Pwede rin ito sa mga kabataan, lalo na yung hindi na maalis ang kamay sa keyboard at ang grado ng salamin ay umaabot ng libo libo sa dahilan na isa siyang adik o manlalaro ng computer games. Ito ay para sa mga interesado malaman ang mga posibleng negatibong epekto ng paglalaro ng computer games.

D. Halaga

Ang kahalagahan ng pananaliksik na ito ay upang magbigay kaalaman sa mambabasa ang epekto ng paglalaro. Ito ang magbibigay kaalaman sa kanila kung ano ang mga posibleng mangyari kung sakaling maadik ang isa sa paglalaro ng computer games. Sa mga mata naming mananaliksik, mahalaga ito malaman ng mga manlalaro upang mabigyan ng limitasyon ang sarili sa paglalaro.

F. Metodolohiya

Ang mga mananaliksik ay gumamit ng kasanayan sa pagsulat ng terminong papel, naghanap ng mga materyales na maaaring makatulong sa kanilang pananaliksik at sariling pag iisip tungkol sa paksa. Nagtanong na rin kami sa iba’t ibang tao tungkol sa kanilang karanasan at kaalaman base sa aming paksa na inaaral.

G. Saklaw at Delimitasyon

Ang paksa naming ay ang “Epekto ng Computer games sa kabataan.” Ang nasasakop lang ng aming pananaliksik ay yung mga negatibong epekto nito sa kabataan lamang. Nasasaad din dito ang nahanap naming mga kaso sa ibang bansa dahil sa pagiging adik sa computer games.

H. Daloy ng pag-aaral

Mas madami ang nakita naming negatibong epekto ng computer games sa kabataan kesa ang positibo kaya’t ito na lamang ang aming tinahak na paksa. Nais naming mga mananaliksik ipaalam sa mga mambabasa ang negatibong epekto ng computer games, upang magkaroon sila ng higit na kaalaman tungkol dito. Nais din naming matulungan ung mga nababahala sa pamamagitan ng aming mga rekomendasyon.

Hindi naming sinasabing ito ay masama, nagiging masama lang kung hindi na malubayan ang computer games. Masama kung mas lamang ang saklaw na oras na paglalaro kaysa sa pag-aaral. Masama kung dahil dito ay nakakasakit tayo ng ibang tao.

II.INTRODUKSYON SA PAKSA

Ano nga ba ang computer game?

Ito ay ang mga larong nilalaro sa kompyuter. Ito ay madalas na nagbibigay aliw sa atin, lalo na sa mga kabataan ngayon. Ang mga halimbawa nito ay DotA (Defense of the Ancient), Counter Strike, Warcraft, NBA Live, Doom, Ragnarok at marami pang iba. Ito yung kadalasang pagpasok mo sa isang computer rentals, makikita mo na madami ang nagsisigawan dahil sa aliw na hated nito. Nauso ito sapagkat marami ang naaadict sa iba’t ibang klase ng computer games. Siyempre ipagkakalat ng isang manlalaro ang kanyang ginagawa upang magkaroon siya ng kakwentuhan ukol dun sa laro na siya ay interesado.

Bilang isang manlalaro, nais mo na maging isang bihasa sa iyong nilalaro at maging lamang sa ibang mga manlalaro. Kailangan gamitan ng utak ang mga computer games upang mahasa ang abilidad sa pagmamanipyula ng laro.

III. KATAWAN NG PANANALIKSIK

Hindi naman masama ang paglalaro ng computer games ngunit kung maging adik ang isang binata dito, ibang usapan na yan. Depende naman yan kung merong karahasan ang nilalaro o ito ay isang pang aliw lamang. Katulad ng Sims, ang pinaka layunin ay buhayin ang isang tauhan sa pamamagitan ng pagpakain dito, tamang ehersisyo at pagbibili ng mga lupa upang mapayaman at mapaganda ang pamumuhay ng tauhan. Ang Counter Strike naman ay iba, ang layunin dito ay pataying ang kabilang kupunan. Kung ikaw ay terorista, kailangan mong patayin ang mga Counter-Terrorist at vice versa. Pag isinabuhay mo ang dalawang laro na nasabi, diba mas mainam kung yung Sims ang gagayahin natin. Wala tayong masasaktan, hindi katulad ng Counter Strike, kelangan pumatay.

Ito ang mga halimbawa ng mararahas na laro :

Grand Theft Auto

Ang Grand Theft Auto ay popular sa mga kabataan. Ito ay pwedeng laruin sa computer, playstation at sa Xbox 360. Ang larong ito ay hinahayaan ang manlalaro ng maging criminal sa isang malaking siudad. Ang mga misyon ng manlalaro ay maging isa magnanakaw sa bangko, maging carnapper, mamamatay tao, pagkarera ng mga kotse hanggang sa katapusan ng laro. Ang larong ito ay nagbibigay ng kalayaan sa manlalaro na gawin ang nais niya, ikutin ang siyudad gamit ang ninakaw na kotse, magpahabol sa pulis, mamaril ng mga tao at kunin ang kanilang pera.

Ang tauhan ng manlalaro ay maaring magdala ng sandata at makipag-away gamit ang kamay at paa sa mga tao sa siyudad. Nagkakaroon ng pera ang manlalaro sa pamamagitan paggawa ng krimen tulad ng pagnanakaw at paninira ng kotse at pagpatay sa mga tao. Ang mga sandata na pwedeng makuha ay makatotohanan, ito ay meron sa tunay na buhay, tulad ng mga baril at granada. Ang sandata ay pwede gamitin para sa mga pulis, mga drug dealer at sa mga kaaway. Ang buhay ng manlalaro sa GTA ay hindi nauubos. Pag namatay ay mabubuhay ulit sa pinakamalapit ng hospital sa siyudad.

Ang GTA ay kontrobersiyal sa dahilan na marahas ang laman ng laro at epekto nito sa mga manlalaro. Ang larong ito ay madalas na ipinagbabawal sa ibang bansa para hindi masaksihan ng mga kabataan ang kaharasan na dala ng larong ito at para din sa kanilang proteksyon.

DOOM

Ang DOOM ay isang laro na maaaring malahukan ng madaming tao. Malakas ang impluwensiya ng nasabing laro sa buhay ng mga kabataan. Unang ipinalabas ang laro upang mailaro sa mga personal computer ngunit sa kalaunan ay ipinakilala na rin sa mga iba pang platform at video console. Tinatayang sampung milyon ang dami ng nag-download ng laro sa loob lamang ng dalawang taon ng pagpapakilala nito. Dahil sa kasikatan nito, nagkaroon ng isang pelikula na may parehong pamagat noong 2005 na naging daan sa mas pagkakakilanlan ng laro.

Ito ay isang first-person shooter game na pinahihintulutang maranasan ng manlalaro ang umasinta at tumira ng sandata. Ang mga sandata naka-set sa simula ay ang pistol at brass knuckle ngunit maaaring makapulot ng iba pang sandata ang manlalaro sa paglalakad. Ang layon ng laro ay simple lamang, kinakailangan lamang hanapin ng manlalaro ang mga labasan ng bawat antas upang makapunta sa kasunod. Bagamat mayroong mga nakagugulo sa manlalaro, upang maisagawa ang kanyang layunin, kelangan niya harapin ang mga humahadlang sa kanyang daanan tulad ng mga halimaw at nalalaglag na mga bagay. Maaari namang patayin ng manlalaro ang mga nasabing halimaw gamit ang kanilang mga sandata at pampasabog. Meron din naman mga medical kit upang maibalik ang kalusugan ng manlalaro. Upang mas maging kapana-panabik ang laro, kahaharapin ng manlalaro ang mga halimaw sa loob ng limang antas na may iba't ibang kahirapan. Dagdag pa riyan,mayroong kakayanan ang mga halimaw na bawasan ang kalusugan ng manlalaro na maaaring maging dahilan ng kanyang pagkatalo.

Sa dahilan na pwede makilahok ang ibang tao, pwedeng magkampihan ang mga kasali para mas madali mapaslang ang mga halimaw at matapos ang layunin sa mas mabilis na paraan. Pwede rin ang mga kapwa manlalaro ang magpatayan, gamit ang network na “deathmatch” na hinahayaan ang mga manlalaro na makipaglaban sa isa’t isa.

World of Warcraft o WoW

Ang World of Warcraft ay isang on-line na laro, na pwedeng marami ang kasama. Ikaw ay gagawa ng sarili mong tauhan at ikaw ang bahalang magpalakas sa iyong tauhan. Maaari kang pumatay ng mga halimaw, bigyan ang sarili ng mga gamit upang makatulong sa pagpapalakas at makihalubilo sa mga tao na hindi manlalaro (sila ang tinatawag na NPC o Non-Player Characters.) na nagsisilbing tulong sa inyo o kaya ay magsisilbing bilihan at bentahan ng mga gamit. Upang maging kagilas-gilas at malakas sa larong ito, kailangan ay marami kang pera, gamit, karanasan at reputasyon. Importante din ang pag abot sa pinakamataas na lebel, sa pamamagitan ng pagpatay sa mga halimaw ay madadagan ang karanasan mo at habang tumataas ang karanasan mo ay umaangat ang iyong lebel.

Pwede rin dito maglaban ang mga iba pang on-line players, kailangan na nasa “Player vs. Player mode” sila. Pwede ditong magkampihan at maglaban-laban. Ang tauhan ng manlalaro ay pwede gumamit ng lahat ng abilidad na siya ang nagmamay-ari at itira sa kalaban. Ang paggamit ng mahika at espesyal na sandata ang pinaka epektibong paraan upang mapatay kaagad ang kalaban.

EPEKTO NG MARAHAS NA COMPUTER GAMES SA KABATAAN.

Ang paglalaro ng computer games na may karahasan tulad ng Grand Theft Auto at DOOM ay kayang pataasing ang pagiging agresibo ng kabataan.

Merong mga kabataan na manlalarong nalilihis ang pagiisip sa katotohan sa pantasya. Isa dito sila Eric Harris at Dylan Klebold na manlalaro ng DOOM at Wolfstein 3D. Sila ang mga hayskul na estudyante na nasangkot sa Columbine High School Massacre na naitala na 13 ang namatay na estudyante. Ang mga nasugatan ay bilang na 24 na tao. Si Devin Moore ay isang player ng Grand Theft Auto na isinabuhay ang laro sa tunay na buhay. Pumatay siya ng dalawang pulis at dispatchador pagkatapos kunin ang pistol sa mga pulis dahil siya ay nasuspetsahan na nagnakaw ng kotse. Pagktapos niyang patayin ay kinuha niya ang kotse ng pulis at umalis sa lugar ng krimen. Siya ay humarap sa korte noong 2005 at nasentensyahan ng kamatayan sa pamamagitan ng lethal injection. Isang tsinong binata na adik sa larong World of Warcraft na nasobrahan na sa pagpapantasya. Pagkatapos niyang matalo sa isang kaklase, sinugod niya ito at binuhusan ng gasolina ang buong katawan ng kaklase. Naglalaro ang kanyang utak at sinasabing siya ay isang tauhan ng WoW, sumigaw siya ng “Fireball!!” at sinindihan ang kanyang kaklase. Nakulong siya ng 8 taon samantalang ang biktima ay nagtamo ng mahigit kalahati ng katawan niya ay nasunog.

IV.KONGKLUSYON AT REKOMENDASYON

A. Kongklusyon

Ang computer games ay may negatibong epekto. Ngunit ito ay depende sa nilalaman ng nilalaro nila, kung ito ba ay marahas o ito ay isang laro na nagbibigay sa atin ng aral upang mas mapaganda natin ang paraan ng pamumuhay. Ang masama dito ay kung puro kasamaan ang laro, maaaring hangaan nila ang tauhan at ito ay gayahin sa tunay na buhay.
Nakakaepekto ito sapagkat mas maraming oras ng kabataan ang naaalay sa paglalaro kaysa sa pag-aaral.

B. Rekomendasyon

Dapat ang mga kabataan ay sumailalim sa mga turo ng kanilang magulang o kaya ay sa nakakatanda. Sana meron silang nasasandalan pag sila ay naging adik sa computer games upang maiwasan kaagad ang negatibong epekto nito.

Dapat ang mga kompanyang gumagawa ng mga nasabing laro ay maging maingat sa pagiging malikhain nila dahil ito ay nagkakaroon ng masamang epekto.

Makahanap ng alternatibong gagawin kaysa maglaro ng computer games sa magdamag upang maiwasan ang pagiging adik nila. Mas mainam kung sila ay nakikipaghalubilo sa tunay na mundo kaysa sa sarili nilang mundo na ang laman ay puro pantasya lamang.

Dapat magkaroon ng patalastas tungkol sa computer games upang malaman ng mga tao ang mga epekto nito.

Dapat idemanda ang mga computer games na sobrang bayolente o ito ay ipagbawal sa industriya. Lalo na sa mga nagkakaso at naging kontrobersiyal sa publiko.…...
