Customer Service is providing a courteous, responsive, quality service to customers by fostering a respectful, positive, and welcoming environment for all. Enhance the customer experience with great service and conduct yourself professionally as we provide the first impression of the company. How do you make it all work so well…….so consistently? Caring about the customer and seeking to give each customer my full attentive service. Each customer is entitled to efficient service from a knowledgeable, motivated, and well trained representative. I use the resources at hand and ask questions during team meetings and coaching sessions for future call resolution. I am obligated to serve each customer the best way possible by listening and responding to their suggestions and concerns. Make the customer feel like they are #1. Retention Specialist/Inbound Sales Representative/Sales Operations Support Representative

...Financial Terms and Roles Shannan Cousin FIN 370: Finance for Business April 13, 2013 Amy Grover, MBA In this paper I will outline the fourteen financial terms and roles for the following words finance, efficient market, primary market, secondary market, risk, security, stock, bond, capital, debt, yield, rate of return, return on investment and cash flow and identify their roles in finance in today’s business world. These fourteen terms and roles are very essentials in today’s business world. Running the assets of any business is not just responsible for one or two things. Financial management is extensive then you might think. The lack of success of most business is high. Many businesses would like to think that if they have a good business model, everlasting enthusiasm and work continuously they are sure to succeed. The proof speaks differently. Many rudimentary businesses hit economic barriers because the owner/ manager does not understand how to manage the financial affairs of his or hers business. The first term is finance “direct lending:” they acquire money given to you temporarily straight from a financial institution such as credit union or bank. In direct lending, the person who purchase agrees to pay the amount offered to loan, plus an agreed-upon finance charge, over a period of time. The second term is efficient market. The best way that I can explain this is market where all significant facts is available to all persons who take party in......

Is the House of Commons “Socially Representative”? Should It Be?

...There is no doubt that whether the House of Commons really represent community or not has become controversial. In my opinion, the House of Commons not really represent the community in the UK due to MPs are not diversified. Matt Walker (October 21, 2009) pointed out that: “In 2005 only 23% of the House of Commons were women, despite making up over half the UK population. Furthermore, ethnic minorities constitute only 2.3% of the House of Commons, despite being 9% of the entire UK population.” Therefore, how can the House of Commons becomes more socially representative is an important problem which parliament must deal with. As is well-known that most MPs are male with middle-age and high educated, apart from this, most part of them are middle class and white. Here has some information shown about MPs: There are approximately 90% of MPs had studied in universities; even most of them came from Oxford or Cambridge. There are about 4% of MPs represent ethnic minority groups. Besides, almost half of MPs are drawn from three professions—business finance and law. So it is obvious that MPs are not representing the nation as a whole. How can the parliament change this situation? In my point of view, the House of Commons should increase more females, people whose educational level is not high or low-yield class, and some young ethnic people. If there are more female MPs in the House of Commons, the more attention will be pay on the women than before. For example, there......

Select Two “Employee Voice” Practices, One an Example of Representative Participation and the Second an Example of Direct Employee Involvement, and Assess the Strengths and Weaknesses of Each in Terms of Their Value to the Employee.

...Introduction Employee voice is an umbrella term used to capture the many forms of practice that give employees a view at work. These processes and structures enable, and at times empower, employees directly and indirectly to contribute to decision making in the business. This report will look into two forms of employee voice; employee representative participation and direct employee involvement, it will look at a specific practice of each form of employee voice and analyse the strengths and weaknesses on their value to the employee.   Representative Participation In 1996 a European Works Council was made a mandatory feature of any organisation with over 1000 employees that operate in over 2 EU states (EUGOV, 1996). In the UK (from the 6th April 2008) any business with a workforce of 50 persons or greater must establish a works council on demand. As a result the presence of a works council today is a very common method of representative participation. The term "works council" applies to any body that represents the interests of employees, which an employer must inform and consult with on issues affecting their organisation. Providing a works council initiates formal employee representation at workplace level to facilitate consultation and discussion of enterprise related issues between workers and management, but to what extent is a works council of value to the employee? Strengths of Works Council for employees One of the more significant strengths of a......

Migi Moreno as a Representative of His Constituents

...Migi Moreno, one can mistake him for a total nerd with his rectangular glasses and happy-to-serve smile always gracing his usual appearance. He is a man of average height, but not of average dreams. His main vision for the academic year is for the USG to “refocus on its role as representatives of the students.” Migi Moreno does not believe in the role of a student leader as a person who only commands a group of people. He believes that he, as a student leader, is there to represent his followers. Jose Miguel “Migi” V. Moreno, a senior PSM-LMG (Bachelor of Arts major in Psychology and Bachelor of Science in Legal Management) student, is this year's De La Salle University Manila University Student Government President. But before his presidency, he has had a lot of leadership experience not just in the University Student Government, but also in his other affiliations. What Does Representative Democracy Really Mean in the United States?

...What does Representative Democracy really mean in the United States? by Christian Gallardo Democracy has been traditionally defined as government by the people. However, here in the U.S. we know by democracy, what is known as representative democracy. In this model, the people transfer, through voting, their sovereignty to some “Representatives”. This model has been used over time to justify the exercises power of a social minority over the majority. To do this, they use legislative and presidential model, which uses the franchise as a way to assume the representation of the people, monopolizing the form of politics. The U.S. Constitution is clear about its political system, which is based on the representation and not in citizen participation. The important decisions are made by a very small group of people who are not accountable for what they do, so the people cannot do anything at the end against them as we are going to explain in this paper work. If we analyze the case of Wall Street in 2009 we realize that society has no way to reclaim their “Representatives" by act or omission errors they have committed. Nothing could be done to prevent the disgraced tycoon Bernard Lawrence "Bernie" Madoff through his investment firm that bears his name, swindled the American people the amount of US$ 50,000 million dollars. There was no law to protect the common citizen desires of unscrupulous businessmen on Wall Street. And though Madoff was sentenced to 150 years in prison...

Union Labor Relations Representative

...Guest Speaker Summary Paper Assignment Alison Hamway – Guest Speaker Alaison Hamway is a Labor Relations Representative for the ‘Oregon Nurses Association’. Her objective today was to present ‘Labor Relations from the Union Perspective’. A Labor Relation Representative works for the Union, and assists in labor negotiations, grievance processing, dispute resolution and other labor relations activities between management, and staff. Such dealings are usually brought about, because Mr. Owner wants to make more money, and pay less - with substandard work conditions, this stresses out the employee which creates conflict. The reason for the Labor Unions back in the day especially for nurses, was because of the poor and dangerous working conditions, long hours, lack of equal pay , the need for better benefits, and patient care demands. A worker alone - has very little power - negotiating with an employer; however through the Union, with the representative like Alison, together they have the clout to realize results through bargaining and negotiating. Labor Unions use to be extremely powerful and popular compared to today. Today labor Unions are not as prevalent due to all of the labor laws to protect the worker; however there is still a place for Unions and they are still going strong, according to Alision Hamway. The Labor Union today is still a very powerful weapon. Her job is exciting and she seems to be extremely passionate about her work - representing the ‘Oregon......

Yet few understand precisely the extent to which their supply chains are at risk, on which fronts, and least of all, how to address those threats. In fact, most feel far more in control than they are, with a persistent fog preventing visibility into how interdependent key risk variables impact their supply chain. A successful supply chain risk management strategy based on a unified platform is the only way to keep up with shifting risk zones. The platform must be agnostic with respect to point solutions that address specific challenges (e.g., vertical A or geography B), and flexible enough to cross correlate those solutions’ data in a way that drives behavior to minimize supply chain risk and take advantage of supply chain opportunities: • Geographic – terrorism; weather; natural disasters; geopolitical instability; privacy and trade route disruption, among......

Analysis of Monetizing the Public: the Production of Celebrities and Fans, Representatives and Citizens in Reality Tv

...Ryan Brown COM 702 3/18/2010 Final Paper In his paper entitled Idolizing and Monetizing the Public: The Production of Celebrities and Fans, Representatives and Citizens in Reality TV, Yngvar Kjus explores audience participation theories and new media by analyzing both the Norwegian and American versions of Idol, a popular reality musical competition series. His exploration of the program via the analysis of collective participation, idolization, and production tactics ultimately unveil a well thought-out and persuasive spectacle that is not as real or grand as it comes off in societies around the globe. While Kjus does touch on theories like massive participation and voter behavior, there is certainly room in his paper for expansion on these topics as well as room for the inclusion of others. Over the course of multiple seasons of the Norwegian version of Idol, Kjus attends nine tapings and multiple production meetings in an attempt to answer his two main research questions. His questions set to find out how reality programs increase the participatory scope and empowerment of audiences and everyday people, as well as how television industries are reinventing themselves as new forms of media emerge, namely online and social media. Kjus starts the paper by presenting these research questions and then explores the history of reality TV and studio audiences, touching on game shows, talk shows, and docusoaps. He then gets into Idol, a show created by Simon Fuller...

The Good and Bad of Sales Representatives

...The Good and bad of Sales Representatives Christopher Kelton BUSN115: Introduction to Business and Technology Professor Jay Egger DeVry University 5 April 2014 The Good and bad of Sales Representatives Introduction The purpose of this paper is telling my experiences with sales representatives. It begins with my most memorably good experience and moves to my most memorably unpleasant experience. I then compare the two to further illustrate the difference in the two. Next we examine in further detail the reasons one made me feel good and one made me feel uncomfortable. Most Memorable Experience My best experience as of late with a sales person was when I went to buy tires at Pep Boys. The sales person made the experience a pleasure. I went in with an idea of the style, type, and purpose I needed the tires to be able to accomplish. When I talked to the sales associate he listened to me and put together options of tires the met and exceeded my requirements, weather they were in the store of from another company. He explained the differences in the tires and how they were quality rated and ranked the according to best suited and price. We discussed the options and he even tried to get a lower price online just to make sure he was not over charging me. It shows that he was looking out for the customer and portraying the company in a good way by insuring loyal customers that feel like they are being taken care of both at the start of the sale and......

Senior Medical Representative

...Top 10 Hiring Mistakes By AllBusiness Editors | In: Hiring & Firing Hiring the right people can make a world of difference in the success of your business. Yet, many business owners do not approach hiring in the right manner and often make the same mistakes. Here are 10 of the most common. 1. Not looking into candidates’ backgrounds. No matter what candidates include on their resumes, you need to conduct some due diligence. If you are serious about specific candidates, make sure their work history is accurate, and check at least a reference or two. In addition, it’s helpful to check their background. For more information, see Where Can I Run a Background Check on an Individual? and Nine Tips on Checking References. For sample background check permission forms and a reference check letter, see the AllBusiness.com Employee Hiring forms. 2. Being overly influenced by advanced degrees. Candidates with plenty of letters after their names have certainly worked hard to earn their degrees. But there is no substitute for real-world business experience, and people often make the mistake of overlooking candidates with track records but not degrees. Note: this does not apply, however, to specialized fields that require advanced degrees. 3. Not having a long-range plan. Hiring someone to fill a current need can help you through a busy time. However, unless you’re hiring someone on a temporary basis, you need a long-range plan for that employee beyond your immediate......

2015 Recruitment Cases - Customer Representative

...Recruitment Questionnaire - Customer Service Representative Case 1:Answer the customer’s email in the language relevant for the position you are applying to. I purchased the Anker 25w Wall Charger on the 14th October, for a few months, It has been perfect, so good in fact, that I purchased another around December period to give as a Christmas gift. Needless to say that the recipient was delighted and too, loved it. I believe that my wall charger has become defective. I use it to charge my Nexus 5 and Ipad2 and various other bits, not necessary at the same time. Over the past couple weeks, I have noticed that my Nexus 5 / Ipad take an extremely long time to charge. Using the LG Nexus 5 charger, it charges my Nexus 5 just under 2 hours, almost at a rate of 1% per minute. This is using a 1.2a charger. With my wall charger, no matter what port I use, be it the Ipad (2.1a) / Samsung Tab (1.3a) / Android (1a). It takes the charger almost 7 hours to fully charge my phone. That is a rate of 1% every 4 minutes, which is unacceptable. I also have an Anker Astro2 battery charger, which charges at 1% per 1 minute, which is correct rate of charge. I can only deduce that the wall charger is extremely slow and does not output the correct amps. Below is my order number if you need to look into it further. Please note I am also a Anker Power user and have wrote several reviews and would appreciate any assistance you can offer. Note: This reply is informed by the...

...NutroBalance has decided to expand its success with the formulation of the Ultra pills that were targeted towards men who lift weights and do cardiovascular exercises in the work-out population, to women who share the same passions. The new product will be called UltraMax. Project UltraMax has been divided into three sections: identification of target consumers, product testing, and result analysis; where twelve main tasks will be delivered in order to accomplish our mission. We started the project with a baseline cost of $42,080, but now we are at $45, 680 which puts us ($3,600) over budget. We also anticipated the project ending on 7/11/12, but now our schedule has an estimated finish date of 7/24/12. It took 30 days to screen the test subjects; our baseline estimation for this task was 20 days. Consequently, this put us over budget and behind schedule. Therefore, we plan to measure risks and constraints for upcoming tasks. We have attached the following reports for your review/records: • Critical Tasks • Over Allocated Resources • Over Budget Tasks • Resource Usage Solution After the test subjects have been finalized the next task will be to prepare the product. This is a critical task that has been assigned to an over-allocated resource. This is a constraint that will lead to other risks in the scheduling, and since we are already behind schedule, we will base our remaining duration estimates on a worse-case scenario using the Program Evaluation...
