...Childhood Cooking Beckie Wakefield ITT Tech Childhood Cooking Think back to childhood years and those few things done at home with mom or dad that seemed so small then but have come to be a favorite memory. Of all the aspects of my childhood one of the most influential and memory filled was cooking in the kitchen with my mother. In addition to cooking being a favorite memory for me I believe it is a great activity to do with children, it is a useful lifelong skill and it is relaxing and enjoyable. I am grateful that I was taught how to cook and how to enjoy cooking as a child. It has filtered into my life as an adult and my family now. I can recall the wonderful smells of the traditional fall time cooking, apple crisp, whoopee pies and my favorite fresh chocolate chip cookies wafting through my little house in the woods of Maine. I am happy to be able to include Makenzie in the joy I get from cooking. I remember how thrilled I was to come home and see ingredients set out on the counter and know that mom had a new recipe project to do. I can now repeat those projects with Makenzie, it is so satisfying to see her get excited to learn from me and do something we’ll both always remember. Cooking is a great bonding time for a child and adult it is fun and children can be inventive and not realize that what they are being taught will follow them through life. Besides the nostalgic aspects of learning to cook throughout childhood and growing up into an adult it has come to...

...Exploratory Paper: As Technology grows, there are more and more virtual schools popping up around the country. With this happening there are a few questions that you must ask yourselves. Is the education that you get from an online school as good or equal to the traditional school system? Can all students succeed in the online environment? Will students learn as much from an online course as they would in a face-to-face classroom setting? Are the degree’s that you may receive from these schools as good or treated as equal to an actual physically attended college degree? Some students feel different about this subject. Taking online classes makes more sense to them in their lifestyle or family situation. The students who take online classes may not be able to attend a traditional college, they may have concerning issues that will not allow this, whether it be having to raise a child and not being able to find adequate child care, or maybe just the cost of the actual school. There are students that do a mixture of both online and traditional classes. They take the classes that they can at a traditional college then take classes online as well. The mostly do this all at the same college that they attend. They may have some of the same issues in life and college but still find time to make it to a regular class room setting. This way they can choose and see what classes they can sign up for and take the rest online. So when comparing the degree’s that you get......

Many drivers talk, text, and respond to their e-mails while trying to drive. People that use cell phone while driving are not aware of their surrounds. Many drivers have swerved into other lanes, ran red lights, or had really close calls all due to using a cell phone while driving. Using cell phones while driving is very dangerous not only to the drivers but also to the people around them.
