Parte I

Sab 104

...SAB 104’s main topic is regarding revenue recognition and the various conditions that need to be fulfilled. This includes, persuasive evidence of an arrangement exists, delivery has occurred and services rendered, seller’s price is fixed/determinable, and collectability is reasonably assured. SAB104 also goes into frequent questions one may have about the conditions in which revenues are required. Persuasive evidence of an arrangement exists: When products are passed on to a 3rd party seller ( consignment arrangement) or distributed other wise, it does not qualify for revenue recognition. Only when the risk and rewards and ownership of a product is passed on to another party has a sale occurred. Even if the title changes hands, some factors need to be taken into account to consider revenue recognition. * When seller has the right to return items * When the seller has to repurchase products due to fluctuations in the environment, and seller is responsible for all fluctuations in cost incurred by the buyer. * When other countries don’t require the company to hand over title until payment has been received. * This is like consignment, so no revenue cannot be recognized till received. Delivery has occurred: * Risk has to have been passed on * Written documentation to prove commitment to purchase goods * Buyer requests bill and hold basis * Date of delivery must be consistent with the businesses purpose * Ordered goods are segregated...

Theo 104 Reflection

...Reflection Jeremy Simms Theology 104 Doctor Jones June 30, 2012 Reflection: I. Introduction: Throughout this course of study I have been challenged, and my awareness as a Christian has been heightened. There have been several questions raised that deserve not only an answer, but diligence in the research and understanding necessary to answer with confidence, vigor and enthusiasm. The first question that will be answered is simple in thought, but more complex in true understanding. Does the Bible have authority? Next, we will discuss the importance of personal testimonies in sharing the gospel. Finally, we will look at life as a Christian. If a person is a Christian, does it matter how they live their life? Throughout the following pages these questions will be explored and answered fully, truly and completely. II. Section One: Does the Bible have authority? Many people read the Bible with cynicism in their hearts and attempt to be overly critical as a result. This is true for both Christians and non-believers alike. In some ways it seems easier to look for a mistake or try to disprove scripture instead of having true faith. This poses the question. Does the Bible have authority? If so, where does its authority come from and how do we know? There are many arguments that show the Bible’s authority and confirm the scripture is the word of God. The most powerful to me personally is the convicting, convincing...

There are four people playing a guess game, Andy, Belle, Carol and myself. Since Andy drew the first question card and was asked if can see two or more players whose cards sum up to the same level, and his answer was yes. Belle picked the next question card that asked how many different odd numbers he can see out of the odd numbers. He said all of them. Andy suddenly declares that he knows what he has. He said 'I have a 1, a 5, and a7'. Since no one can see their own cards, but can see the cards of the other three players, I was able to know the cards I have based on the question cards Andy and Belle drew. Solution There are five even numbers and five odd numbers in this set of playing cards. The even numbers are 2,4,6,8,and 10. The odd numbers are 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9. ...Cynthia Okebata Theo 104 Dr. Massey World view essay The very first time I heard about a world view, I questioned, what does that mean? I looked up the meaning in a dictionary based on the context. But it was still very unclear to me. I could not provide a very strong meaning of the word, “world view”. Due to the ordeal that I I was in while I was saved, I had no idea what it actually meant to be a true Christian and a child of God. But from that time hence forth, the lord has given me a better understanding of the word, “worldview”. I’m so thankful and grateful because the more I think about what I have learned from taking this class; the more excited I get about the plans God has for me now that I have a good knowledge of who I am in him. The joy of having a good understanding of who I am in Christ, guides and influences the way I think, what I know, and the way in which I perceive things that are around me. I work in a Nursing home facility I’m sent to do my job without any limitations God choose for me to work there for a purpose, So that I can help the sick patients in my own little way. I strongly believe that I am created by God, and he created me in a very special and exclusive way, he made me in a way that I would be able to fulfill a very special and distinctive responsibility on earth John 15:16 “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the......

Math 104 Logic Application

...Week 3 Assignment 1: Logic Application James R. Johnson Professor Robert Grier Math 104 24 October 2013 I am playing Guess Your card with Andy, Belle, and Carol. The point of this game is to guess what cards you have and the first to accomplish this wins. Each player has to draw three cards without looking and place them on their heads. The cards have a number on them between 1-9. During each play, the players have to draw a question from the questions deck. The player then answers the questions based on what they see. During the game, Andy draws 1, 5, and 7. Belle drew 5, 4, and 7. Carol drew 2, 4, and 6. Andy’s question card asks if he sees two or more players whose cards sum to the same value. He replies, “Yes.” Belle’s draws a question card asking, “Of the five odd numbers, how many do you see?” See says all of them. Andy then states, “I know what I have.” “I have 1, 5, and 7.” Even with the given information, I still don’t know my card numbers. I will solve this problem by finding the terms not given. Based on the variables I do have, we know that Andy and myself have all the odd numbers because Carol’s numbers are even. Andy has 1, 5, and 7, which leave 3 and 9 with me. By referring back to Andy’s question, we are able to find that my remaining number is 4. I’m able to find this out because Belle’s numbers total 16, Carol’s numbers total 12, and my to given numbers are 3 and 9. The only number that could be my third number and total 16 is......

...Theo 104 R P Campbell Taha Sufi 6/29/2015 Application Paper Introduction God created the universe and all his beings whether they may be seen by the eye or may they be superficial. Among such beings are Angels and Demons which have been present since the beginning of time and are under Gods direct control. Angels and Demons have been noticed of and spoken about in almost all religions and also in the new and old testament. Angels Theological Definition: Superhuman or heavenly being who serves as God's messenger. Angels have been mentioned almost 300 hundred times in the scripture. In the beginning they were part of the divine hierarchy and were created as beings ( Psalms 148:2) and (Psalms 148:5). Biblical Foundation: Though Angels have been mentioned a lot in the Bible and its relative books there biblical foundation stands questioned as no one knows when they were created, whether they may been created in the creation week or on the creation day. Though they have been present for all of eternity (Nehemiah 9:6 and Psalm 148: 2, 5), they have always worked for the betterment of mankind and have been delivering Gods faithful messages. Practical Application: Angels are referred to 108 times throughout the Old Testament and 165 times throughout the New Testament. Although   the Bible does not provide specific figures, we are told that the number of angels are numerous (Daniel 7:10; Matthew 26:53; Hebrews 12:22; Revelation 5:11). They are there but we do not...

Apol 104

...Jan 31, 2013 Joe Steel APOL 104 As defined by Dr. Caner and Henson “a worldview is the framework of beliefs by which a person views the world around him” (1). Worldview is our perception of how we see the world, like a “lens” we see through, everyone has a worldview and your perception is dependent upon your beliefs. The question of origin – We as Christians have the worldview that God is our Creator and everything that we know is a result of God. (Genesis 1:1) Throughout the whole bible God is declared Creator from David (Psalms 139:13) to Isaiah (Isaiah 48), our worldview of origin is reaffirmed in scripture. The question of identity – We are created in the likeness and image of God, we are image bearers. (Gen 1:27) He has made us higher than animals, He has given us dominion over the earth, not so we can destroy or abuse it but so that we may take care of it for Him. (Gen 1:26) That is why if you were to eradicate mice, you most likely would not be sent to prison, but if you were to try and eradicate humans, you are most likely going to face prison and possibly the death sentence. The question of meaning/purpose – For the Christian, it is to know God and have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ for whom He sent to be reconciled back to him. (John 3:16) We are also to be Christ like in our walk so that others may see Him through us, He desires us to walk in fellowship. (Matt 22:3) Dr. Weider & Gutierrez hit the nail on the head when they said......

Theo 104 Essay 1

...THEO 104 – D38 Laura DeMoor July 9, 2016 Experience With Theology Essay For me, the word theology means the study of God, or the study of why God does certain things. I have never given much more thought to the word, other than the basic meaning of it. I think theology helps us to really understand the nature of God, as well as the science behind his character and his attributes. When I was younger, my pastor was discussing theology. At that age, I just thought this word meant studying God’s attributes. When I was a little bit older, my mom told me to look at the root words in the word theology, and I found that the word “theology” comes from two Greek words – theos meaning “God” and –ology, meaning “word” or the study of the word. So the word’s literal meaning is God’s word or the study of it. Now, I think it describes God and his word but it also tries to help us, as Christians, understand why God puts us through the things He does. Sometimes, it can be hard to really grasp why God has bad things happen or good things happen. Obviously, I would love a passing grade in this course, but I would also love to learn the real meaning of the word theology, and not some meaning I came up with when I was a child. I’ve taken several Bible courses before at this school and at my old college, but I have never taken a theology class. I feel like I still am lacking in my knowledge about God and the Bible, so I am hoping that this class will teach me more. I think in order......
